ICU

A well equipped, well staffed and properly managed ICU is a big boon to the hospital and health care delivery system. We have a 20 bedded ICU Complex located on 3rd floor of Hospital. The ICU complex has a Medical ICU, a Surgical ICU, A Pediatric ICU, Neonatal ICU and as per concept of progressive patient care’ , a step down unit called HDU (High dependence unit) also.

The ICU’s are equipped with state of art equipments including Monitors like CVP monitors, Multi parameter monitors, Pulse- oxymetres, Syringe infusion pumps, Nebulizers, Ventilators- Invasive and non- invasive, Resuscitation kits, Tracheotomy sets, Defibrillators and Mobile x-ray unit etc. The details of each ICU have been mentioned under the respective departments which manage the particular ICU, however there are certain other facilities available under ICU complex are

The intensive care units are centrally air-conditioned with all modern health care facilities to serve and save the patients who are in critical condition. These units are equipped with central oxygen supply, central suction and compressed air supply, multi Para monitors, cardiac monitors, ventilators, defibrillators, infusion pumps, syringe pumps, pulse oxy meters and nebulizers.

The PICU unit of pediatrics department has a Premature Baby Unit which is equipped with Central Oxygen supply, central suction, double surface phototherapy units and warmers.
